This week-end we had a big meet-up in the city of Montluçon which is located in the centre of France. It was all organised by a French Shiba-Inu forum. We were about 20 person with about as many dogs, we all stayed at the hotel and ate at a pizzeria with our dogs. It was a lot of fun seeing all the different dogs and how they interacted together.
We discovered that Akira was much more independent than other dogs and did not have any conflicts with other dogs. I tried to make him swim like Diego, the beautiful cream Shiba that loves to jump into water. All I was able to do was to get myself wet !
I can't want for next year :)
Ce week-end nous avons eu une grosse rencontre Shiba dans le centre de la France, à Montluçon. La rencontre avait été organisé sur le forum Shiba-Inu, malheureusement la gentille organisatrice n'a pas pu être présente. Nous étions environ 20 personnes et presque autant de chiens. Nous sommes restés à l'hôtel et avons mangé dans une pizzeria avec nos chiens. J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à observer les différents chien et à suivre leurs interractions.
J'ai découvert qu'Akira est beaucoup plus indépendant que les autres chiens et qu'il est assez zen vis-à-vis les autres chiens. J'ai essayé de faire nager Akira comme Diego le magnifique shiba crème qui saute à l'eau sans se faire prier mais c'est surtout moi qui s'est fait mouiller!

Ah yes. the Kitchen scratch. Pong has one where she scratches you if you have food in your hand. It's like "i just scratched you! Gimmie food"
Those are some great pictures btw. Shiba Inu meetups are always fun since you get to share crazy yet similar stories about the dogs.
